What someone wrote to me about our Government...

Best Analysis Yet...

THE REAL PROBLEM WITH OUR GOVERNMENTAL SYSTEM

The folks who are getting free shit,
Don't like the folks who are paying for the free shit.
Because the folks who are paying for the free shit,
Can no longer afford to pay for both the free shit and their own shit.

And, the folks who are paying for the free shit,
Want the free shit to stop.

And the folks who are getting the free shit,
Want even MORE free shit on top of the free shit they're getting already.

Now, the people who are forcing people to PAY for the free shit,
Have told the people who are RECEIVING the free shit, that the people who
are PAYING for the free shit, are being mean, prejudiced and racist.

So, the people who are GETTING the free shit, have been convinced they need
to HATE the people who are PAYING for the free shit because they are selfish.

And they are promised more free shit if they will vote for the people who force
the people who pay for the free shit to give them even more free shit.

And -- when the free shit stops we will riot, burn, steal and commit mayhem.
For the "rich" owes us!  It is happening in England and coming here soon.

And that's the Straight Shit!

 This was my answer...

First of all, what is all the "free shit"??

second,  the most important problem that we face is that we are becoming more and more divided, and that does not make for a healthy marriage, family, business, community and/or country!

we HAVE TO FIND A WAY TO WORK TOGETHER...and SHARE, and everyone, i mean EVERYONE, rich, poor, black, white, gay, straight, man, woman, needs to bring something to the table, to give something of themselves, in order to make the engine work well together!  by this i mean: anything from a talent to a helping hand, to  teaching, to building, to a check, to community service, to TIME...whatever!

remember, the more you have been given (and i certainly don't mean just money), the more responsibility you have, as a human being, to GIVE, to pay it forward, to SHARE, to help the world GROW around you.  Otherwise, you have merely wasted it!  this should not be imposed on you, but it should be a lesson, as i keep trying to teach my children...and there are MANY adults, rich or poor, that have forgotten this.

there is no such thing as FREEDOM without RESPONSIBILITY!!!  like in a marraige, it is a give and take, it is work, it is compromise: you are a teacher, a counselor, a listener, a best friend, a project manager at times, a comedian, a financial advisor, a nurse...all out of compassion, of respect, out of unconditional LOVE, of trust...etc!  If you take any of these for GRANTED, you have lost your FREEDOM, because you have forgotten the message.

1.  everyone has a talent of some sort...whether it's a craft, intelligence, good with numbers, engineering, teaching, listening, talking, the gift of touch, time, cooking, healing, supporting, tutoring, dancing, whatever it is...it is something that each and every one of us has been born with...a GIFT... that is the FREEDOM PART...the RESPONSIBILITY pART is what we do with it!  USE WHAT YOU HAVE INSIDE OF YOU...we NEED to pay attention to that... people make too many excuses...

2..the other thing we have to remember is that WE NEED HELP!  in order for us to realize our GIFT...to use what we have inside of us, we need the help of others to make it happen...and we should not be embarrased to ASK FOR HELP....this goes across the board....from home, to school, to work, to government, to nation, to world!  EVERYDAY!

3.  the third thing is that if we see someone struggling, someone that needs help, that cannot ask for help, that cannot find anyone to LISTEN to him/her,  WE NEED TO LEARN TO HELP... whether it's helping them ourselves, or turning their heads in the right direction...without any judgement...in whatever way we can...whenever we can!

i believe, if we want Freedom within our nation, the world, we must first find freedom within our soul, and in my experience, in common sense, this is the only way to get there...we are a piece of the puzzle, and when we work together, we can achieve a beautiful goal...LIFE!

no man is an island...

Anger, frustration, pointing fingers, does nothing but dwindle away this FREEDOM.  this is the common sense...it is what you learn as a toddler and then in kindergarden, and these are the essential things that we, as imperfect human beings, tend to always forget!!!

we need to HELP EACH OTHER...not BLAME EACH OTHER.....doesn't anyone get that??????????????????????????????????????????????????

preschool here we come!!!

Yesterday was my baby, clara rose kuhns's, first day of preschool... i am still in shock!

Of course, my beautiful little, "trouble", as my husband lovingly nicknamed her, was all ready to go to preschool ever since the open-house, this past spring.  The day after, she was already wearing her backpack.  we sweetly told her that her school did not start until September.  Now, with most things, she is a real smarty-pants, but that morning, her big blue eyes read: "that means nothing to me..."

So, finally that infamous September arrived, and here we are...

Our preschool is a coop, and I, of course, had the honor of helping the teacher out the first day.

Check out the pics... a beautiful, loving group of kids...a great class!

miss clara rose and her new kicks...

 ...and backpack, of course!

that put everyone in line...

the kids ended with a story...and miss clara rose got to be the leader...

and explain to mrs. teachout why she HAD to be the leader...

so, at the end of the morning, while Colton waited for his mommy, he decided to make good use of his time!

...and so, with his orange hand, we mark the beginning of autumn!
